Artist Interest From

Are you a passionate artist who loves to share your creativity and inspire others? The Yakima Arts Academy invites artists of all disciplines to join our growing community of instructors dedicated to nurturing the next generation of young creators.

Our Lead Artists are experienced professionals who share their techniques, knowledge, and love for the arts through engaging, hands-on classes. Artists work alongside our Lead Artist, Mr. Chris Caprile, who provides support with classroom management, curriculum development, and supply coordination.

Whether you’re interested in teaching a single workshop or a series of classes, we offer opportunities for both paid and volunteer positions. Stipends typically range from $200–$500, and all instructors complete a background check before teaching.

If you’re ready to make an impact through art, we’d love to hear from you! Share your availability, samples of your artwork, and a brief overview of your teaching style or approach to help us find the right opportunity for you.
